Alpine
Wyoming also known as the "Little Switzerland
of America". It is located 30 miles south of Jackson
Hole Wyoming. Alpine is nestled against the
mountains at the entrance of the Snake River and Greys
River Canyons where they meet 20 mile long Palisades
Lake. Alpine is on the north end of Star Valley a
valley dotted with farms tucked into mountainous topography.
Three national
forests surround Star Valley, Bridger-Teton National
Forest, Caribou National Forest, and Targhee
National Forest of Idaho.
